Twelve Days Leading To The Mayan Apocalypse – Day 10

On the tenth day leading to the Mayan apocalypse this thought came to me…

There’s been all this talk about how the Mayan civilization just up and disappeared. They weren’t the first. It happened previously with the dinosaurs as well. One day they are there…then poof…gone.

There have been many theories as to why the “poof” happened, many of which revolve around climate changes.

Me, I just think Mother Nature gets pissed off and in many cases she’s called for a do-over or hit the global refresh button.

Lately it seems she might be getting a tad pissed at us with the hurricanes, earth quakes, tidal waves, droughts…you name it.

I sure hope she’s not getting ready for a do-over under the guise of the Mayan Apocalypse…that’d suck.

Best Christmas special EVER!

In my mind this is how I always picture Mother Nature. After all, she’s the mom of the Heat Miser and the Snow Miser in my favorite Christmas cartoon – The Year Without a Santa Claus.

Apparently, you can check out the whole old-school special on YouTube. Who knew.
